Instructional Services
Cooperating School Districts offers member districts educational opportunities and teaching tools that can save you hundreds and even thousands of dollars if purchased outside a cooperative entity. The services include United Streaming, a digital online library, VHS video library, broadcast center, video production services, video duplication, and TV News Monitoring.
United Streaming
CSD.unitedstreaming.com
is a digital online library that offers 4,000 video titles and more than 40,000
clips accessible via the Internet. Faculty, staff and even students can stream
or download videos for inclusion in classroom curriculum, student research,
presentations, or portfolios.
- The entire library is correlated to the Missouri Show-Me standards.
- Meets MSIP requirements for the Core Data Screen 7 report.
- "Finding Our Missouri Heritage" video series produced by The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education has been digitized and is included in the library.

Video Library
CSD's
videotape library has more than 3,500 titles that CSD delivers to member
schools to supplement and enhance educational programs for students and teachers.
. The titles cover all core curriculum areas.

Broadcast Center
Cooperating School Districts broadcasts educational programming on 3 cable
television channels and on two ITFS(instructional television fixed service)
channels.
Three cable channels are available to schools in the St. Louis area via the
local cable system. Two ITFS channels are available to schools with special
antennae.
Membership to Cable and ITFS includes:
- On demand programming on 3 cable channels and 2 ITFS channels
- Regularly scheduled educational programming
- Satellite downlink programs, special event programming, professional development,
and regularly scheduled satellite programs
- Schedules of the 3 CSD cable and 2 ITFS channels
- Access to the online video library and ordering services
- Copyright permission to videotape programs off CSD cable TV and/or ITFS

Video Production Services
CSD boasts a large production facility available to member districts for free
and available to non-member districts for a small fee. CSD is available to faculty,
staff and students to develop and produce educational programs for classes,
special projects, and individualized professional development.
The production staff can work with you at CSD in our studio or visit your district for onsite assistance and instruction on video production. In addition to serving our member districts, we have also worked with varied clients.
The facility includes access to:
- Non-linear editing
- Two camera studio with chroma-key
- Audio/narration booth
- Licensed music and sound effects library
- Pre-production planning
- Storyboarding and scriptwriting
- Workshops:

Video Duplication
CSD has a video duplication facility that provides a wide range of resources for educational institutions. CSD provides the following duplication services:
- Duplication of CD's and DVD's
- Duplication of VHS, SVHS, VHS-C, Hi8, Mini DV, and Beta SP tapes
- Copy school produced videos (All duplication requests must be accompanied
by a written signed release form)
- Videos containing copyrighted material will be duplicated only with prior
written consent from the producer.

TV News Monitoring
CSD records the local St. Louis News broadcasts (KTVI, KMOV, KSDK and KPLR).
We need date, time of broadcasts, and station broadcasting and we will send
you a copy of that news program. If a member district needs a copy of a particular
broadcast they just have to pick up the phone. Programs are held for 60 days.
